Please refer to BPRD Circular Letter No. 17 dated June 09, 2007, wherein Para 1 & 2 of Regulation R-5 of Prudential Regulations for Corporate / Commercial Banking were amended.

2) On the representation of some banks as well as the trade and industry associations, it has been decided that amendments made vide BPRD Circular Letter No. 17 dated June 09, 2007 shall be valid till June 30, 2009.

3) This is the last and final extension period of relaxation, as such borrowers should be advised to position themselves over the period to meet the standard requirement.

4) All other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.
