EXTENSION OF BUSINESS HOURS- COLLECTION OF DONATIONS IN THE
PRESIDENT’S RELIEF FUND FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS 2005

Please refer to BPD Circular letter No. 37 dated October 3, 2005 on the captioned subject.
2. In order to facilitate collection of donations in the “ President Relief Fund for Earthquake Victims 2005”, banks are directed to extend the business hours during the month of Ramzan upto 3:00 p.m. except Fridays for the purpose of the collection of donations for earthquake victims only. They are also advised to publicize in print/ electronic media/ websites regarding the extension in business hours and branches providing the facility of collection of donations, in extended hours, for information of general public.
3. The instructions issued vide letter No. AD Govt./13961/122-2005 dated October 15, 2005 by the Accounts Department, State Bank of Pakistan, Banking Services Corporation, as such, stand withdrawn/ cancelled.
