Dear Sirs/ Madam,

CLARIFICATION-KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER (PRUDENTIAL
REGULATION M-1)-INCENTIVE TO REGISTERED ALIENS

Please refer to BPD Circular Letter No. 19 dated June 4, 2004 on the above subject.

2. In this connection it is clarified that the registered alien citizens residing in Pakistan are permitted to open bank account in Pak Rupee only.

3. All other instructions on the subject shall remain enforced / unchanged.
