NEW PBA MEMBER ON SBP COMMITTEE- SBP GUIDELINES ON
WRITE-OFF OF IRRECOVERABLE LOANS AND ADVANCES

Please refer to BPD Circular Letter No. 8 dated March 10, 2003 regarding constitution of “SBP Committee” for resolution of disputes under SBP Scheme and subsequent letter No. BPD /PU-34/ SBP-Scheme/ 6252 /2004-3885 dated March 30, 2004 whereby tenure of the Committee has been extended up to 30-09-2004.

2. In this connection it is advised that consequent upon resignation of Mr. Muhammad Rafiq, A-SEVP, PICIC as member of the Committee, Mr. Akbar A. Chugtai, Country Risk Manager, Union Bank Limited has been nominated as representative of Pakistan Banks Association (PBA) on the Committee with immediate effect.
3. All other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.
