EXPORT FINANCE SCHEME-POTTERY ITEMS

It has come to our notice that some banks are reluctant to provide export finance facility, under the Scheme, to the exporters against export of “Pottery” items.

2. It is clarified that export refinance facility is admissible for “Pottery” items as well as table-ware/kitchen wares/other household & toilet articles made from clay, ceramic, china, porcelain, plastic etc. under the Export Finance Scheme as the items are not included in the “Negative List” of the commodities not eligible under the Scheme circulated vide BPD Circular No. 05 dated the 24th February, 2003.
