Please refer to the BSD Circular No. 6 dated 13^th April 2002 in terms of which export finance facilities were extended under the captioned Scheme for export of Brown Rice in bulk /loose to the European Countries against sight LCs only.

2. In order to further support the exports of Brown Rice it has been decided to allow pre-shipment export finance facilities under Part-I of the captioned Scheme to the exporters of the Brown Rice in bulk / loose against contract, with shipment to be allowed only against an irrevocable LC.
