Please refer to our Circular No. 11 dated May 15, 1998 regarding the captioned subject. 

2.         In partial modification of the above circular, it has been decided that the banks shall henceforth collect utility bills during the Office Hours as envisaged in our Circular No. 19 dated June 26, 1998 (copy enclosed for ready reference). 

You are, therefore, advised to ensure observance of the above timings and also make arrangement for displaying these outside the branches. Any contravention to these shall invoke penal action under BCO, 1962. 

3.         Other instructions on the subject shall remain unchanged.
