Dear Sirs / Madam,

PRUDENTIAL REGULATIONS FOR BANKS

 
You would be aware that the State Bank of Pakistan for the last few years has been consolidating the Prudential Regulations for banks in the form of booklet. The fourth updated edition of this series consolidating therein all the amendments has been got printed and issued herewith for ease of reference. In addition to this, the updated edition of this booklet has also been placed at our web-site www.sbp.org.pk and can be accessed / downloaded at any time. 

Accordingly, banks are advised to carefully go through these regulations and circulate the copies of same among all their offices / branches for meticulous compliance. Please note that non-compliance of Prudential Regulations will lead to punitive action under the provisions of Law.
