You would be aware that the State Bank of Pakistan for the last few years has been consolidating the Rules of Business for NBFIs in the form of booklet. An updated edition of this series consolidating therein all the amendments upto March 31, 2002 has been got printed and issued herewith for ease of reference. In addition to this, the updated edition of this booklet has also been placed at our web-site www.sbp.org.pk and can be accessed / downloaded at any time. 

Accordingly, NBFIs are advised to carefully go through these rules and circulate the copies of same among all their offices / branches for meticulous compliance. Please note that non-compliance of Rules of Business for NBFIs will lead to punitive action under the provisions of Law.
