Dear Sir/Madam,

REVISION IN AGRICULTURAL CREDIT RETURNS

Please refer to ACD Circular No. 3 dated September 07, 2007 regarding rationalization of database on agri. credit returns.

2. To further enhance clarity and effectiveness of agriculture reporting requirements, the agriculture returns being submitted by banks have been reviewed and amended as follows:

• Statement No.1: (i) Addition of a new column for “outstanding number of borrowers”(ii) Deletion of “Other Wells” from the category of “Tube wells” (iii) Deletion of “Implements” from “Tractors” and added under the category of “Farm machinery” (iv) Separation of “Cold Storage” from “Godown/ Silos” and added as a new category.
• Statement No.2: Addition of a new column for “Outstanding Number of borrowers” against each purpose and size of farm.
• Statement No.4: Addition of a new column for “Outstanding number of borrowers and amount”.
• Statement No.6: Bifurcation of “principal & markup” in holding wise size wise portion of 6-B.
• Statement No.8: Replaced with half yearly statement of Agri. Infrastructure of Banks.
• Statement No.9: Addition of columns: (i) “number of outstanding borrowers” along with holding wise breakup and (ii) category of “Others” under major crops is being replaced with “Fodders”.
• Statement No. 10: Replacing “minimum and maximum rate of mark up” with “average mark up rate” and deletion of “Recovery part” as the information is being reported in Statements 1 and 2.

3. Further, the contents of Statements No. 3, 5 and 7 will remain unchanged. The due date of submission of District wise half yearly statement No.1 & 2 to SBP has been extended to 20th instead of 15th of the following month to which it relates.

4. Banks are advised to submit their returns on the revised formats effective from July, 2015 onwards. The revised templates for code based reporting along with Validation Rules can be accessed from the “Knowledge centre” of DWH Portal for onward submission of online Data File Structures at Data Acquisition Portal version-4.

5. All other instructions on the subject shall, however, remain unchanged.
