AMENDMENT
IN RATIONALIZATION OF DATABASE
ON AGRI. CREDIT RETURNS
Please
refer to ACD Circular No. 2 dated 15th June 2007 regarding
rationalization of database on agn credit/discontinuation
of returns.
With a view to add further clarity to the reporting requirements
apart from certain relaxations explanatory noting is being
incorporated on the formats prescribed under the above noted
circular, as under:

Due
date of submission of returns to SBP has been extended
to 15th instead of 12th of the following month to which
it relates.

Statement
No.1: Definitions of outstanding amount of loan and classification
of size of land holding have been incorporated at footnote
of the statement.

Statement No. 2: Definitions of outstanding amount of
loan and classification of small & large farm have
been incorporated at footnote of the statement.

Statement No. 3: Explanation on reporting the value of
security to the extent of amount disbursed has been incorporated
at footnote of the statement. In addition, period of reporting
i.e. July to December for first half-yearly return and
July to June for second half-yeariy return has been provided
at the footnote.

Statement No.6: As banks do not maintain NPLs in the form
of detailed breakup of non farm activities, the section
has been deleted and rest of the statement remains unchanged.

Statement No.7: Frequency of reporting has been changed
from quartedy to half-yearly.

Statement No.9: Definition of outstanding amount of loan
and the explanation of reporting period i.e. July to December
for first half-yearly return and July to June for second
half-yearly return have been incorporated at the footnote.

Statement No.10: The statement has been re-aligned by separang
the section of mark up rates and holding wise details of
amount due and amount recovered. The breakup of farm &
non-farm sector has also been made under the mark up rates
section. Further, definitions of amount due & amount
recovered have been included at footnote.

change has been made in the statements No.4 , 5 and 8.
