- Offices
and Branches of the National Bank will have discretion to
sell at lower rates to the public but Treasury Agencies
will invariably charge full rate.

These
oncession rate will be granted only to:-
-
Indigenous
Bankers.
The State Bank will request Provincial Government to submit
their recommendations regarding the names of the Indigenous
Bankers The Bank will consider these recommendations and
will thereafter draw up a list, which will be circulated
to all offices of the State Bank, all offices and branches
of the National Bank and all Treasury Agencies for guidance.

For
the purpose of these concession rates, Non-Scheduled Banks
will be treated in the same manner as Indigenous Bankers.
An approved list of Non-Scheduled Banks will be circulate
with the approved list of Indigenous Bankers.

Co-operative
Banks and Societies.
Formed and functioning under the Co-operative Societies
Act, for the time being in force in the Provinces or in
Pakistan States.

Exchange
charged in remittances under the following heads will
be credited to Exchange Accounts at the office of issue:--
(A)
Paragraph 2A(5), 2B(5), 2C(4).
(B)
Paragraph 3A(5), 3B(4).

Exchange
charged in remittances under the following heads will
be collected by Treasury Agencies at the rates shown herein,
and will be credited to the State Bank through the accounts
of the Provincial Accountants General:--

Remittances
on Government Account will ordinarily be made by means of
Government Drafts but in cases of extremes urgency the State
Bank or where the State Bank does not conduct Government business
the National Bank or Treasury Agencies will arrange for remittances
by telegraphic Transfer at par within the province on payment
of the cost of telegrams.
