PLACEMENT OF INVOICE & PACKING LIST INSIDE CONTAINERS

Attention of the Authorised Dealers is drawn towards EPD Circular Letter No. 7 dated 7th April, 2005 regarding placement of invoice & packing list inside containers.

Model Customs Collectorate Karachi have informed that commercial banks can open LCs of the following imports without condition of placing invoice and packing list inside the containers, till further instructions:

(i) Imports by industrial importers of automobile parts and components.
(ii) Imports of raw cotton.
(iii) Imports of metals, ingots and billets.
(iv) Import of Petrochemicals.
(v) Bulk imports in unpacked condition.

Please bring the same to the notice of all your constituents.
