AMENDMENT IN APPENDIX IV TO THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE MANUAL

Consequent upon de-scheduling of the Bank of Ceylon with effect from the close of business on March 24, 2004 on account of its merger with Dawood Bank Limited, the name of Bank of Ceylon appearing at Serial No. 8, Appendix IV to the Foreign Exchange Manual has been deleted. Accordingly, the name of Dawood Bank Limited with prefix “DBL” has been added

Further, due to change in name of Mashreq Bank Pakistan Limited to Crescent Commercial Bank Limited w.e.f. March 31, 2004, its name appearing at Serial No. 21 has been deleted. Accordingly, the name of Crescent Commercial Bank Limited with prefix “CCBL” has been added. A revised list of Appendix-IV of the Foreign Exchange Manual is enclosed.
