EXPORTS - METHOD OF PAYMENT

Attention of Authorised Dealers is invited to the instruction contained in paragraph 6(b), Chapter XII of the Foreign Exchange Manual in terms of which payment for goods exported to countries other than those with which Pakistan has special arrangements, may be accepted from any foreign currency account maintained with banks in Pakistan including an account maintained by the exporter himself. These instructions stand temporarily withdrawn in view of the restrictions placed on withdrawals from foreign currency accounts vide F.E. Circular No. 12 of 1998.
