POLICY 1995-96 EXPORT OF CARPETS AS PERSONAL BAGGAGE
Attention
of Authorized Dealers is invited to our F.E.
Circular No. 34 dated the 17th September, 1995
on the above subject.
2.
Enquiries have been received whether the provisions of F.E.
Circular No. 39 of 1987 have been withdrawn in respect of
all exportable goods or in respect of carpets only. It is
clarified that the general permission given vides para 2
of F.E. Circular No. 34 dated
the 17th September, 1995 relate to carpets
only. As for other exportable items, the procedure contained
in F.E. Circular No.39 dated the 6th June, 1987
will continue to be followed.
