EXPORT TO SOUTH AFRICA

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to F.E. Circular No. 87 dated the 4th November, 1964 enclosing Ministry of Commerce’s Notification No.SRO-775(K) dated the 7th October, 1964 prohibiting export of all goods from Pakistan to the Union of South Africa.

2. It has since been decided by the Government to rescind the aforesaid Notification by issuing SRO No.544(I)/95 dated the 20th June, 1995. A copy of the said notification is enclosed. Consequent upon issue of the new Notification, the restrictions on exports to South Africa have formally been lifted.

S.R.O. 544(I)/95. – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Imports and exports (Control) Act, 1950 (XXXIX of 1950), the Federal Government is pleased to rescind Ministry of Commerce’s Notification S.R.O. 775(K)/64 dated 7th October, 1964.
