WAIVER
OF IMPORT FEE
Attention
of the Authorized Dealers is invited to F.E.
Circular 49 dated the 14th June, 1994 on
the above subject.
2.
In case any Authorized Dealer has recovered import fee from
the importers in respect of letters of credit opened / contracts
registered after 9th June, 1994, the same may
be refunded. If the import fee in respect of letters of
credit opened / contracts registered after the 9th
June, 1994 has been deposited in the State Bank of Pakistan,
a refund may be obtained thereof. Necessary instructions
in this regard are being issued to the area Chief Managers
of State Bank of Pakistan.
