NOMENCLATURE
OF THE EXCHANGE CONTROL DEPARTMENT
The
Federal Government has been pleased to approve the change
in the nomenclature of this Department from "Exchange
Control Department" to "Foreign Exchange Department".
2.
All correspondence relating to foreign exchange matter may
invariably be addressed to the Director/Additional Director
or respective Senior Deputy Directors of the Foreign Exchange
Department and the words "Exchange Control Department"
wherever appearing in the Exchange Control Manual (6th
Edition, 1987) be read as Foreign Exchange Department. Further,
designation of the following posts in the Department has
also been changed as mentioned against each:-
