Dealers are aware that the Declaration on Form
'E', format of which is prescribed in Appendix V.14
of the Exchange Control Manual (Vol.II), interlay, contains
the declaration reproduced hereunder:-
"I/We
declare that I/We am/are neither connected with the importers/consignees
abroad directly or indirectly nor do I/we have any financial
or other interest in the importers/consignees abroad".

In order to bring the Form
'E' in harmony with Government’s policy of deregulation,
it has been decided to delete the above declaration from
the format of the prescribed Form
'E'. Accordingly, the sentence reproduced above appearing
in para 3 of Form
'E', line 9 after the words belief and ending with the
words "abroad" in line 11 will be deemed
to have been deleted from the declaration made on or after
this date.

Authorized Dealers are, therefore, advised to deface the
above sentence in all the copies of the Forms
'E' in their stock and ensure that the aforesaid declaration
is deleted from the Form
'E' in the next prints.
4.
The contents of this Circular may be brought to the notice
of their constituents.
