COMMISSION ON EXPORTS

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to F.E. Circulars Nos. 107 and 115 dated the 11th and 25th July, 1991 respectively in terms of which exporters have been permitted to retain export commission differential up to 5% of FOB value of export proceeds realized, in their foreign currency accounts in Pakistan for export promotional publicity etc. in cases where the exporters do not pay commission to the buyers/agents abroad or where the quantum of commission payment is less than 5%. A clarification has been sought whether this facility is also available where export proceeds are realized under the ACU mechanism. It is confirmed that the said facility is also available where export proceeds are realized under ACU Arrangement.
