RESTRICTIONS
OF TRAVEL DURING HAJJ SEASON
Attention
is invited to F.E. Circular No.37 dated
the 8th April, 1992 on the Subject noted
above.
2.
It is advised that as an exception to the instructions contained
in the above F.E. Circular Ministry of Religious Affairs,
Government of Pakistan, Islamabad may issue NOCs
for travel to Saudi Arabia on International Passports for
performing Hajj. Such NOCs will
be issued in triplicate in the format attached with this
circular, original meant for the Royal Saudi Embassy/Royal
Saudi Consulate at Islamabad/Karachi for grant of Hajj Visa,
duplicate for the Airline for issuance of ticket and triplicate
for the Authorized Dealers for release of PTEQ, if admissible.
Travel Agents/Airlines/Authorized Dealers are hereby authorized
to issue tickets and released PTEQ where admissible on the
basis of NOCs issued by the Ministry
of Religious Affairs. The airlines will not accept booking
from Travel Agents for travel to Saudi Arabia on International
Passports in respect of persons not covered by the exempted
categories mentioned in the list enclosed with F.E.
Circular No.37 dated the 8th April, 1992
unless duplicate copy of the NOC of Ministry of Religious
Affairs is produced.

Authorized Dealers will attach the "triplicate"
copy of NOC issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs
with the relevant Foreign Exchange forms while reporting
the transactions to the Foreign Exchange Department in the
monthly Foreign Exchange returns.
4.
Airlines/Travel Agents and Authorized Dealers are advised
to note the above instructions carefully for strict compliance.
